CLECAT (The European Association for Forwarding, Transport, Logistics and Customs Services) was established in 1958. Based in Brussels,  it represents the interests of 20 national organisations of European freight related service providers. Multinational, medium and small freight forwarders and Customs agents are all part of CLECAT's structures, thus making it the most representative structure of its kind.

Institute of Logistics and Warehousing

The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing (Instytut Logistyki i Magazynowania, the ILiM) is a market-oriented research and development unit which functions as a competence centre in logistics and e-economy. It develops, promotes and implements innovative solutions for logistics in key business processes, thus increasing the functional effectiveness of companies and complete delivery chains.



Marlo continues the consultancy activities started by LogIT a.s in 1997. The Marlo/LogIT business originated from EU projects in the area of transport and logistics, with a specific focus on issues related to Short Sea Shipping and door-to-door transport operations utilising waterborne transport.


Logit Systems

Logit Systems offers unique management systems and expertise to increase competitiveness in transport & logistics. Logit Systems aims to make intermodal supply chains involving shipping, truck and rail more competitive by improving supply chain performance, attractiveness of ports and efficient use of assets in shipping. Target customers are manufacturers, shippers, logistics integrators & 4PLs, transport operators (sea, rail and barge) as well as logistics hubs that want to increase cargo throughput and improve hinterland accessibility.



In the area of logistics and transports Fordesi has a strong curricula linked to several projects to organizations such as: port administrations, several public and private logistic platforms, logistic operators, railway operators, transport operators, shipping companies, shipping agents, freight forwarders, among others.



The SINTEF Group is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia. Every year, SINTEF supports the development of 2000 or so Norwegian and overseas companies via its research and development activity.
